Did you know there are lots of types of stitch markers? So many to choose from! Of course, there are the solid ring type that don’t work as stitch markers for crocheters – though we can crochet around them for jewelry and embellishments. For crocheters, there are the split ring markers, but there are also the locking stitch markers that look almost like plastic safety pins. I love those little things! Not only do they work as stitch markers, but they also work for pinning parts together when you are seaming your work. They even make some with little clips on the bottom so if you are marking rounds and certain  stitches, you can write a note and clip it on; such as “dc2tog”, “3 dc” or “round”. Pretty nifty!
