Have you ordered this set? I ordered a set in the very same purple case but without the accessories. The silver hooks Are only about 4 1/4 inches long and can be bent between two fingers. Surely hope you have a different set advertised here.

I just bought this on Amazon right after Christmas for about $12. Now that’s a deal! I’ve only used one hook and the scissors (they aren’t great), but I’m very happy with the purchase. The aluminum hooks aren’t the ones I like the best (shape, personal preference for the ones I learned on), but I’m using this as a back up for when I’ve got my hooks all over the house in projects and can’t find THE ONE I’m looking for. I also haven’t had much use for the little hooks, because I don’t don’t do a lot of small work, but it will be nice to have a complete set if the need arises. Having the case is great and the extra stuff, well, that was bonus. I’ve never used stitch counters and markers, so I’ll see if it’s worth the trouble 😉 The scissors hardly cut yarn, but they will do the job if you can’t find your good ones.
I just looked at my past order and mine was through a different seller, that had it at 65% off and is now sold out. The kits are exactly the same though (right down to the purple pouch). The ONLY difference I can see is that I only got one stitch counter (I didn’t get the one with the lanyard, which would be nice 😉 ) and the color of my scissors is different. So I think my review holds up 😉 The hooks are shaped like the Boyd hooks. I prefer the shape of the Susan Bates hooks….again, that’s just what I learned on, so I lean toward liking those best. I can use either though. The quality of these seem the same as either of those brands. 🙂
