The Berber Mosaic Afghan is created using the overlay mosaic technique. The PDF has 23 easy-to-read charts for each pattern included, with corresponding written instructions (using US terms).
You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern, just remember a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet. You can of course create any size you want as it’s a simple repeating pattern. You can chop and change the individual patterns around, you can take some out or repeat some. Entirely up to you – so go for it. Be creative! 🙂
